ADDIS ABABA, Nov 3 (Reuters) - Two people were shot dead on Thursday during a third day of clashes between police and protesters in the Ethiopian capital, medical sources in two hospitals said.
"We have one person dead. He was 19 years old and hit in the chest," a doctor in Zewditu Hospital said.
Another doctor in the Black Lion hospital said a 60-year-old man was killed in unrest in an eastern suburb of Addis Ababa.
The doctor in Black Lion said he was also treating an 11-year-old boy for gunshot wounds.
Thursday's killings brought the death toll from three days of anti-government protests to at least 36 people.
In Ethiopia's worst political violence in months, police in Addis Ababa have opened fire to disperse hundreds of demonstrators apparently heeding an opposition call for renewed protests against a May 15 poll it says was rigged.
