Swedish to Palestinian Elections, Leave Eritrea
The Swedish government has decided to send 10 Swedish observers to the Palestinian parliamentary elections on January 25th.
In addition, a Swedish statistical expert will join the European Union leadership group there.
Meanwhile, diplomatic sources in Eritrea have confirmed that five Swedish military observers and the rest of the 180-man group from Europe and North america will be moved to the Ethiopian side of the border.
As tension along the border continues to grow again, Eritrea has demanded the elimination of the international observer team.
