Asmara, 31 March 2006 – Four TPLF soldiers disclosed that soldiers are defecting opposing the TPLF regime’s illegitimate rule and destroying property belonging to the regime.

The soldiers added that the regime, worried about the latest developments, is trying different means of stemming such developments.

The defecting soldiers are Tigabu Arage Sisay and Adane Desta Azali, both from the Tigray ethnic group, Bilema Tamir Alem and Getachew Meles Mamo, also the two of them from the Amhara ethnic group.
