Ethiopia Said Poised to Militarily Assist Somalia

By Sher Zieve – Stating that the rightful government of Somalia has been seized by Islamic militants, Ethiopia announced on Wednesday that it was ready to militarily assist its neighbor country, Fox News reports. Addressing the Somalian parliament, President of Somalia Transitional Federal Government Abdulahi Yusuf Ahmed said that Islamists have violated the Khartoum Agreement.
Ahmed also said that Islamic courts regularly ignore the agreement and said of the Islamists: "We know that Islamists violated the agreement and if they are not asked why violating any call from the international community on the government to attend Khartoum meeting will be unacceptable."
