Somalis miss cabinet announcement deadline
Somalia’s Prime Minister Ali Mohamed Gedi has yet to announce a new cabinet a day
after the deadline has passed. Reports from the seat of government in Baidoa
say he is still locked in consultations with clan elders and other senior politicians to settle the matter. We find out why it’s taking so long.
